And Beyond...
This site was completed years ago, but
I left it up anyway to serve as a resource hub, and it has surpassed even my wildest imaginings!!!
Though I will probably have to reset my counter (boohoo), there have been 1,797,676
visitors to this site as of January 2, 2005!
Due
to such a HIGH rate of visitors to this site, I have decided to update
more frequently, and check out the validity of all of my links....
Background
on this site:
I chose to
create a comprehensive site on the definition of happiness as part of a
seminar at college called, "The Pursuit of Happiness: Conflicting
Visions and Values". The Seminar was based on the 1998-1999 study
topic of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
During my
research on the topic, I searched for ideas to include in my online project.
But alas, I found no site that could show me a large compilation of interesting
links to poems, quotes, essays, or other such things.
Now, don't
get me wrong. There are many web pages dedicated to Happiness.
As a matter of fact, there were so many, that it got annoying to search
each one. I wanted something easier. Somewhere I could go that
would show me where to find the best writings on happiness, without having
to sift through hundreds of sites, just hoping for a gem.
This site
is far from complete. If anyone has anything that I can add to this
site, or has found something special on Happiness that I overlooked, please
contact me at
happiness@happinessonline.net
Or you may sign my
guestbook. If you have any questions, comments, or ideas to add to my page,
I'd sure like to know!

All graphics

best of my knowledge and ability. If anyone notices a mistake on
my part, PLEASE contact
me so that I may either correct the error, or remove the graphic from this
site. Please do not take any images from my site, instead follow
the link to the source.
If the source is not directly next to the image, then it is due to the
size or placement of that image. The artists and sources will be
found on the bottom of the page on which their graphic appears.
